The first factor is that it has lush soil. There are a lot of farm fields and volcanoes that are still active. According to Dian Fiantis (Ahmad Nur H., 2018) the soil expert from Andalas University, she explained why the soil of Java is lusher than the soil of Sumatra. It is because the eruptions on Java Island produce d more nutrients such as calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) that are needed by the plants. While silicon dioxide (SiO2) which is more spewed in mountains in Sumatra does not much needed by the plants. From t here , we can say that Javanese people are more like ly to consume vegetables.
